About Us
Breckland model aero club
The Club has been flying near to Thetford in Norfolk for over 50 years! Originally known as the Vickers Flying Club, it began life at the local Rugby Club before migrating 400 yards to the current site adjacent to Thetford Power Station. Breckland Model Aero Club is a registered Community Amateur Sports Club.
The club currently has about 25 members of all ages and abilities

FLYING MODELS
Our club members fly all types of models: Helicopter, Multi-rotor (Quad/Hex) and Fixed wing (Foam/Balsa) with electric motors and IC engines. In addition, there is a growing interest in First Person View (FPV) flying.

ABILITIES
The club has members from beginners to experienced fliers. Training and (helpful) advice is often available.
FLYING TIMES
The flying field is open all-year around and 7 days a week from 10am to 8pm.
Regular members meet on Sundays 9am to Midday (weather permitting) and also on Thursday mornings for beginner/intermediate training. If you wish to visit the site, these are good opportunities to meet the members and discuss your requirements.
